Volunteer with LGBT Youth Scotland in the Borders

We are looking for volunteers to help support our youth services in the Scottish Borders.

We currently run two youth groups running in the Central Borders and Eyemouth areas. The groups run weekly and we need enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers to help us support the growing numbers of young people seeking information, advice and support from our national charity.

Does that sound like you?

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have an awareness of LGBT identities
  • Have a knowledge of issues affecting young people
  • Have a good awareness of boundaries
  • Have a good sense of humour

If so come and chat to us about joining our volunteer team!

What we can offer you:

  • Enhancement of existing skills
  • LGBT Youth Scotland induction training, and a range of wider training and support within a vibrant and enthusiastic team
  • Volunteer expenses
  • References
  • Social opportunities
