Val McDermid and guests celebrate LGBT literary heritage.

Join Val McDermid for an event to celebrate Scotland’s LGBT literary heritage on the 26th of November.

Val McDermid is one of the biggest names in crime writing. Her novels have been translated into 30 languages and sold over 10 million copies worldwide.

She'll be joined by Louise Welsh, Zoe Strachan, Allan Radcliffe and Ryan Vance for an evening of readings and conversation as part of Book Week Scotland.

Zoe commented:

"Scotland has produced world-famous LGBT authors, but its rich and varied library of queer writing has often been neglected. LGBT History Month and LGBT Youth Scotland work tirelessly to ensure that the wonderful and diverse voices of Scotland are heard, because these words can be life-changing for readers and writers everywhere. This event in Book Week Scotland will be a celebration and an inspiration!"

All profits go to LGBT Youth Scotland. Get your tickets here!

The venue is wheelchair accessible and a BSL interpreter will be there on the night.
