LGBT Youth Scotland announces the appointment of Robert Cole as new Convenor

Robert commented:  “I’ve always admired the quality of the work that LGBT Youth Scotland does for young Scottish LGBTI people.  I want to help the charity continue to deliver excellent support services for LGBTI young people in Scotland whilst rising to the challenges that come from the current economic environment”

Robert is a member of BT Scotland’s management board and heads up BT’s Flexible Resource Business Change Practice.  His background is in change management, customer service and sales.  Robert’s charity experience includes six years on the Board of the Scottish Mediation Network, most recently as Vice Chair and Chair of the Practice Standards Committee for this alternative dispute resolution charity.  He co-founded SWAN LGBT Networking, the Scottish business workplace network for LGBT people.

Robert is 53, and he and his husband live in Edinburgh.
