GBT Men’s Domestic Abuse Roundtable

LGBT Youth Scotland and the LGBT Domestic Abuse Project would like to invite you to attend a roundtable event on the needs of gay, bisexual and transgender (GBT) men experiencing domestic abuse.

The GBT Men’s Domestic Abuse Roundtable will bring together practitioners from a range of services such as health, safety, LGBT-specific, or domestic abuse support in order to hear about recent research, share current knowledge, and identify the key issues facing GBT men experiencing domestic abuse in Scotland.

The aim of the event is to identify clear actions and opportunities for partnership working.

The speakers for the event have now been confirmed and will include: Lesley Irving (Head of the Gender Equality and Violence Against Women Team for the Scottish Government), Catherine Donovan (University of Sunderland) and Ippo Panteloudakis (Respect UK and Men's Advice Line).

We hope that you will join us for the event from 10:30am to 4pm on 28th August 2014 in Edinburgh to share your knowledge and perspectives from your work.

To register your interest, please complete this form.

Sign-ups close on 1st August.
