130 Delegates attend Education Reception

We would like to give thanks to all 130 delegates who attended the Scottish Parliament Reception ‘LGBT Young People and Education'’ on the 7th of Ferbruary 2013. It was a fantastic evening with 130 delegates in attendance, great speeches and entertainment.

- Fergus McMillian (Chief Executive, LGBT Youth Scotland) for chairing the event

- Cara Spence (Policy Director), Brandi Lee Lough Dennell (Policy and Participation Manager) Timmi Fleming (LGBT National Youth Council) and Ciaran O’Conner(Glasgow Peer Educator) 

- The Loud and Proud Choir www.loudandproudchoir.org and The Banyuls Saxophone Quartet  www.banyulsquartet.co.uk  for entertainment and musical interludes.

Plus thanks to:

- All those delegates that travelled from far and wide including a big shout out to the young people from Scottish Borders and Dumfries & Galloway!

- All of the staff, volunteers and partners that assisted with the event!

- And all of our supporters who have worked closely with us to improve the lives of LGBT Young People in Education.
