LGBT NYC Time for T.E.A

Brunswick Hotel

106-108 Brunswick Street, Glasgow, G1 1TF (map)

25th March 2013 – 6pm-8:30pm

The LGBT National Youth Council thinks it’s high time for good TEA (Transgender Education Awareness). Young people from across Scotland have told us that experiences in education need to improve. They think that there needs to be more awareness of transgender identities in Scottish Education and that young people need to be more confident to support transgender friends. We have been working hard on this, but need your help!

If you are aged 13-25, you’re invited to TEA on Monday the 25th of March. You don’t need to be Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender to attend, just care about trans inclusion! We would love you to join us for some food and a bit of a chat. Please come along and tell us about your knowledge of transgender identities, what you think young people need to know to support friends and give us your opinion on some of our campaign plans.

A buffet will be provided and everyone will be entered into a prize draw. We are also lookingo for some performers for the evening, so if you have a special talent and would like to entertain us, let us know!

To RSVP please complete a registration form here by the 15th of March.
