Share Your Views on Needs of Older LGBT People

Are you over 50?
Are you lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender?
Do you live in East Dunbartonshire?

If your answer to all 3 of those questions is yes, please join us at one of our two small discussion group events in East Dunbartonshire this April.

3.30-5.30pm on Friday 25th April at Westerton Hall, 84 Maxwell Avenue, Bearsden, G61 1NZ

3.30-5.30pm on Wednesday 30th April at East Dunbartonshire Voluntary Action, 18-20 Townhead, Kirkintilloch, G66 1NL

Tea and biscuits will be provided.

East Dunbartonshire Council has commissioned LGBT Youth Scotland to undertake a scoping activity into the needs and experiences of adults over the age of 50 living in the area, with a focus on LGBT people. These two discussion groups will be a chance for you to share your views and experiences in a safe and relaxed environment, so that this important information can be used to inform recommendations to East Dunbartonshire council on services and health and wellbeing opportunities.

The events are completely free of charge, close to public transport and the venues are accessible. If you have further access requirements, please let us know.

If you would like to come to one of these events, please get in touch with Brandi Lee Lough Dennell at 0141 552 7425 or brandilee.loughdennell@lgbtyouth.org.uk
