Research on Prejudice-Based Bullying

The Equality and Human Rights Commission in Scotland has commissioned a project exploring prejudice-based bullying and harassment in schools, which is being conducted by researchers from LGBT Youth Scotland and respectme. As part of this project we are conducting two anonymous surveys.

One survey is aimed at all secondary school pupils across Scotland. You do not have to have experienced bullying to take part. We are interested in hearing about how your school speaks about bullying and how to report. Take 15 minutes to fill out the questionnaire and (optionally) enter to win a £50 Amazon voucher by leaving your email address at the end.

A second survey is aimed at secondary school teachers and can be found online here. We would like to hear about anti-bullying activities you have taken part in and your experience of dealing with bullying incidents.

Your support of this project is very much appreciated. Survey responses will be used to identify ways in which responses to and prevention of prejudice-based bullying and harassment bullying in schools are working well and might be improved. Tell your friends about the research by posting the survey links on Twitter and Facebook!
