Our 25th Anniversary!

LGBT Youth Scotland and its predecessor organisation has been working with LGBT young people for 25 years, during which time a lot has changed for LGBT people in Scotland, however lots remains to be done.

LGBT Youth Scotland makes a positive impact on the lives of LGBT young people, today we are launching our impact report, Transforming Lives, which clearly evidences the impact the charity is having on young people’s lives.

Today also marks the launch of our Silence Helps Homophobia campaign which is our new campaign to continue work in schools to challenge homophobia; in addition, we want to raise awareness of Time for T.E.A. the National Youth Council’s campaign for transgender awareness in education. Trustees, staff, volunteers, supporters and partner organisations will be joined by Aileen Campbell, Minister for Children and Young People, today in Edinburgh to celebrate this important milestone for the charity.
