ABOUT US

We are Scotland’s largest youth and community-based lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) organisation. We have approximately 35 staff members and 80 volunteers who work across Scotland to improve the health and wellbeing of LGBT youth and LGBT communities. We are regularly looking for bright and enthusiastic people to join our team.

Sessional Youth Workers (2 Posts)

Each post is for approximately 9 hours per week to 31 March 2017 in the first instance
£9.54 or £10.59 per hour

• Do you have a good understanding of LGBT identities, youth participation & community engagement?
• Are you creative in the design and delivery of programmes?
• Can you provide goal orientated support for young people?

We are looking for two experienced sessional youth workers to support the delivery of LGBT Youth Groups in Kirkcaldy, Fife (Post 1) and Dundee (Post 2) for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people aged 16-25, and associated 1 to 1 support.

The Kirkcaldy Group meets every Wed 6.00 – 8.30pm and the Dundee Group meets every Tues 6.00 – 8.00pm.
