Bespoke Training and Delivery

LGBT Youth Scotland can also work with organisations to identify their specific training needs,
and then tailor training design and delivery to address these.
Our training service aims to be as informal and interactive as possible and we always aim to meet
participants at their level of understanding and knowledge.

Specific Training Resources include:

  • Dealing with Homophobia and Homophobic Bullying in Scottish Schools:  Teachers Toolkit and Lesson Plans
  • Engaging LGBT Young People in Community Planning

Our fun and interactive approach stimulates people into action and ensures challenging heterosexism and homo/bi/transphobia becomes embedded in everyday practice, no matter who you are. Our person centred approach ensures each session is tailored to the groups’ particular needs.

We also offer specific sessions to suit a range of Equality and Diversity topics. For example gender equality training or developing best practice on Equal Opportunities Monitoring. Contact us by training@lgbtyouth.org.uk to find out more.
