Forum
Online there are very few safe spaces for LGBT young people to chat to others, find out information and take part in online activism.
Here at LGBT Youth Scotland, we have a dedicated online space for LGBT young people, their friends, supporters and professionals working with them to take part in discussions, access resources and information, make friends and take part in online youth groups.
As Scotland is a relatively large place, there might not be LGBT services or youth groups in all areas, so why not sign up and take part in an online youth group and chat to others in your area to see how you can set one up.
To make sure that this is a safe space for young people, there is a lot of guidance that has come from the Government and the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) to make sure that these spaces are fit for purpose, young people can access them safely and can speak to someone if they have any concerns.
Staff at LGBT Youth Scotland have worked hard following this guidance and continue to do so with relevant professionals to make sure that our Forums are a safe space for LGBT young people to take part in online youth groups.
To register, click the "Forum" tab and then "Register" - registrations can take up to one week to be processed and a trained youth worker will be in touch to see how we can help you access the Forums and get the most out of using them.
