Young people all over the world use social networking websites to stay in contact with their friends, make some new ones, have fun, and find out about what’s on in their area. We currently run internet outreach every day of the week so we can do the same.
We have profiles on Bebo and Facebook so young people and other youth organisations can find out about what services and opportunities we run, what events are coming up, and to have a chat with a youth worker to find out about how we can support you.
After running internet outreach every day for 5 weeks, we now have over 200 friends on Bebo, and over 800 fans on Facebook. That’s about 1,000 people who are aware of what we are doing and supportive of our work.
