LGBT Charter Mark Awards
LGBT Youth Scotland would like to congratulate Stevenson College Edinburgh, Dialogue Youth, Aberdeen and Borders College on their recent award of the LGBT Charter mark.
Each organisation has shown commitment to LGBT equality by completing all the steps in the LGBT Charter toolkit to include, support and value LGBT people in their services.

LGBT Charter Mark
Look out for the new and improved LGBT Charter of Rights and toolkit. The LGBT Charter of Rights has undergone a make-over so that it now includes ALL lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people, regardless of age.
As before, the LGBT Charter is about increasing visibility of LGBT people and promoting positive messages, challenging homophobia and raising awareness of LGBT issues in mainstream services. However, the toolkit is now accessible to all agencies wanting to diversify and improve their service and adopt and promote good practice regardless of the age of their service users.
The LGBT Charter of Rights and toolkit have been completely redesigned and now has its very own LGBT Charter logo. The website is currently undergoing a revamp to be in keeping with the new Charter of Rights design and toolkit.
For more information on the LGBT Charter of Rights visit the LGBT Charter section of this website
here. While we haven't as yet been able to update this section for the redesigned LGBT Charter of Rights, so is a bit out-of-date, it will still give you a good idea of what the LGBT Charter of Rights is all about.
