Trainee Youth Participation Worker
AP1 £16,710-£17,876 (Full Time - 12 month fixed contract)
Based in Glasgow, with travel throughout Scotland
You will assist with the development and delivery of a range of participation opportunities for LGBT young people from across Scotland. Working alongside the National Participation Co-ordinator, you will get the opportunity to develop your youth work skills, as well as being actively involved in the work of the Policy & Mainstreaming Team.
A key focus of the post is to work closely with the members of the LGBT National Youth Council to plan and deliver regular residentials across Scotland. You will be responsible for developing young people’s confidence and skills around areas such as campaigning and representation. This post requires considerable travel as well as evening and weekend work.
