Become a Fundraising Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and learn new skills.
All our volunteers are fully trained, have all their expenses paid and are recognized at our awards ceremony where we celebrate and reward our volunteers’ hard work.
Join your Local Fundraising Group
We are looking to recruit a variety of people to join our Local Fundraising groups in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dumfries.
We need administrators, treasurers, graphic designers, event organisers and anyone with a good sense of humour who wants to have fun!
Collection Volunteers Needed
Collecting at Venues
Do you enjoy speaking to people?
We are looking for friendly, outgoing volunteers to assist us in collecting at venues or events in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dumfries. You will be fully trained and will always be working as part of a team.
Can Collectors
We are looking for people who enjoy responsibility and getting involved with their local community to harvest our collection cans once a month.
You would be visiting local pubs, clubs and hairdressers on a regular basis (a superb opportunity to meet and get to know new people in your area), and you would also be coming into the LGBT Youth Scotland offices to count and bank the money.
It would be helpful if you had your own transport, but it’s not essential.

ONLINE SHOP – Shop and help raise funds
Visit our online shop at www.buy.at/lgbtyouth where you can shop at Asda and buy the latest CDs at HMV.
We receive a donation for every purchase you make so now you have a good excuse to hit the shops!
