Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYPs)
MSYPs are elected every two years and either represent a local area or a national voluntary organisation. LGBT Youth Scotland has two MSYP’s to represent the views of LGBT young people from across Scotland.
MSYPs are there to:
- To represent your views fairly
- Take part in debates
- To work on campaigns
- Question ministers and key figures
- To promote a positive image of young people and challenge stigma
- Consult with local authorities and national organisations
