Adult Volunteering

Throughout Scotland, we are looking for adult volunteers (25+) to take part in our new adult volunteering project.

It’s vital that our young people are provided with positive, non-judgemental role models who allow them to be themselves while having a jolly good time!

That person could be YOU!

How can you help?             

Events

• Propose new events and fundraising ideas
• Develop new community groups and activities
• Publicise and raise awareness of campaigns
• Usher and provide info at LGBT YS events
• Coin collection

 
Outreach

• Assist with information stalls and drop ins
• Assist with planning and delivery of sexual health and outreach work, in commercial gay venues and in mainstream youth settings

 

Youth Work

• Assist with planning and facilitating group work activities which support LGBT young people to improve confidence and self esteem, and increase skills and knowledge
• Provide support and referral options to LGBT young people who need additional support or specialized services
