New Adult Volunteering Opportunities!
iVol is LGBT Youth’s new adult volunteering project, which offers a range of challenging and rewarding opportunities. Whether you are interested in planning events, fundraising, or working directly with our young people, iVol offers real volunteering experiences.
As we have high expectations of our volunteers, we offer relevant ongoing training, regular supervision, and volunteer social events. As an iVolunteer, you will be part of a wide volunteering group and become a valued member of the LGBT Youth team.
LGBT Youth Scotland is currently looking to recruit volunteers in Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dumfries. Volunteers will be trained to carry out the following:
Dundee volunteers: Setting up a new LGBT youth group
Glasgow volunteers: Assisting with current LGBT youth groups and events
Edinburgh volunteers: Mentoring
Dumfries volunteers: Fundraising and Events
Interviews will be held in the first week in February and all successful applicants will be asked to attend a training residential from Fri 22nd Feb – Sun 24th Feb 08 in West Lothian. All transport, accommodation, and catering will be provided.
