West Dunbartonshire:
West Dunbartonshire area workers lead the way in forming a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Equality Network. This is the best example in all of the Scottish local councils of workers getting together and forming a network on an area of work that has never been broached in the region before.
- The Titan Crane lit up with rainbow colours for the month of February
- A rainbow flag flying from West Dunbartonshire Council offices in Garshake from Feb 25th – 29th.
- A visibility campaign across West Dunbartonshire, using posters and space on bus shelters to raise awareness of the rights of LGBT people living and working in West Dunbartonshire
- An event entitled ‘Celebrating Diversity’ bringing together local people and representatives from organisations to raise awareness of equalities issues in West Dunbartonshire.

Out of the Bedroom
Out of the Bedroom, Edinburgh's leading open mic night for original songwriters is proud to announce that it will be holding a special night in support of LGBT History Month, entitled "Out of the Closet". This will be held at The Canon's Gait Bar (Edinburgh).
If you are a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender performer, or are simply someone who wishes to perform in order to show your support for the LGBT communities and acknowledge their rich history, then we want to hear from you!
