Dumfries

The Dumfries LGBT Centre has been running since its launch on December 1st 2006.

It is the central hub for all LGBT services in the region and it has just had a brand new look with new drop in times.

LGBT Youth Scotland runs groups, drop-ins, internet outreach, information, support, events and volunteering opportunities for LGBT young people (12-25).

OUTFront, the flagship project for LGBT adults, also runs from the Dumfries LGBT Centre.

Why not come along, have a cuppa and have a chat with staff and volunteers on how you can get out more in D&G?

We also provide information and support for friends and families of LGBT people, and also for professionals who work in the region.

Staff can also act as a local contact for our national services, such as training for professionals, the LGBT Charter Mark Scheme, LGBT Domestic Abuse Project and LGBT History Month.

3.30pm - 5.30pm Drop-in Informal and supportive space with refreshments, computers, magazines etc.
7 - 9pm Online Outreach Support via MSN Messenger and other online chat and social networking sites

Tuesdays

6 - 7pm Phoenix (Unders) Group for young people age 12-16 
7 - 8pm Phoenix (Mixed) Space for all young folk to mix together
8 - 9pm Phoenix (Overs) Group for young adults age 16 - 25

Wednesdays

6pm - 8.30pm Volunteer and Community Activist Meeting
1st week of month - meeting/supervision
2nd week of month - working groups
3rd week of month - training
4th week of month - working groups

Thursdays

4 - 7pm West Wing - Stranraer Drop-in for all ages at the Cabin, Ashwood Drive, Stranraer

Fridays

6pm - 7pm Free Spirits Kids Group for adults over 21 & their kids
7pm - 9pm Free Spirits Group for adults over 21

10pm - 3am Sticky Social night for LGBT adults & mates, last Friday of every second month at The Venue, Dumfries
