Your Policy

As part of the process of including lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in what you do, it is important to have policies that reflect the experiences of LGBT people and challenge discrimination.

In this section you can read our LGBT Equality Law & Good Practice Guide to help you evaluate your policies and see how you can make your policies more inclusive for LGBT people. The guide includes:

• Summaries of relevant legislative and policy developments which have an impact on the lives of LGBT people
• Signposts to websites and guides which offer more detailed information about changes in the law
• Examples of organisational policies which include LGBT people
