SEVEN Central LGBT Youth

SEVEN is the LGBT youth group for 13-25 year olds. Currently based in Stirling it runs once a month at the Basement from 6.00-8.00pm.

The next meeting dates are:

29th July, 26th August,23rd September,21st October,25th November,16th December

Recently the group has gone to Glasgow Pride, the launch of Beyond Gender in Edinburgh and are planning a trip to Slovenia and the National Gathering in Tulliallen.

All their work is being accredited – so if you would like to be involved, meet new people, and plan activities then this group is for you.

Plans are afoot to set up groups in Falkirk and Clackmannanshire – please get in touch if you would be interested in being involved in this.  

Central LGBT Development Group

As well as this new and exciting group, volunteers, professionals and others who are interested in changing things for the better for LGBT young people across Forth Valley have been meeting regularly to chat about how to do this.

The Central Development Group is an opportunity for professionals and service providers to meet and discuss LGBT inclusion and improve access for LGBT young people. Currently there are representatives from Central police, Stirling and Clackmannanshire Youth Services, NHS, Youth Voice and the Rock. Please contact ann.marriott@lgbtyouth.org.uk if you would like to attend one of the meetings, or to be included in developments.

Central LGBT Community Forum – if you are LGBT and live within the Central Region and would like to come along and meet other people, and have a voice in your area then please get in contact.

Central Sexual Health - NHS Forth Valley

Forth Valley Sexual Health is an NHS service providing FREE sexual health care in Forth Valley. We offer testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), free condom supplies, pregnancy tests, all forms of contraception and emergency contraception, and general advice and support.
