Your gender identity is something to be celebrated and treasured.

Working with transgender people is an important part of the work of LGBT Youth Scotland. We aim to empower transgender young people to challenge barriers like transphobia and to have their voices heard.

We create opportunities for young people to express themselves and explore their identities in a safe and supportive environment. We also give young people information about different transgender identities, transgender history and culture.

Your gender identity is something to be celebrated and treasured. However, for many transgender people this isn't easy. Transphobia and discrimination can cause fear, stress, and low self-esteem. You may find some helpful information here and in the other pages of the support section.
